One of the biggest objectives for various university students is to be able to find a summer internship for their second or third year. Getting an internship is very important for an undergraduate student as it allows that student to be able to demonstrate his or her theoretical knowledge into practical knowledge. The first thing that you have to do would be to create a proper CV that showcases your abilities fully, so that your chances as a student will increase. This will be very helpful as it will allow you to showcase your education, past projects, language skills, competitions and other activities.

Once you have your CV in place, then you should focus on getting your SOP in place. This would be very important as your Statement of Purpose would be your way to showcase your objectives in the internship. It should be written by yourself and not by anyone else and it should portray your skills and your wants clearly. It will also be a good idea for you to add your transcript as well to your application package.

Many universities are more then happy to provide internships to foreign students. You will have to send your application to at least 10 places so that your chances of success will increase. You will have to diversify your application so that it can be sent to many places of different backgrounds.
